Route 35 : Montagu - Cape Town

About the Route

This route takes you from Montagu to Cape Town. There is some gravel on this route in the beginning, but ends up being mostly tar with beautiful scenery and awesome roads. Our initial route had loads of gravel roads, but due to flooding at the time, we had to adjust our route. Maybe it was for the better, because we throughly enjoyed the amazing scenery, perfect tar roads and all the mountain passes! Especially the pass with the hairpin bend as you drop down into Franschhoek.
