Route 37 : Cape Town - Ceres

About the Route

This route takes you from Cape Town, back inland, towards the mountains to the town of Ceres. All the roads are tarred and in good condition. It takes a large loop, which adds extra km's, but it avoids the busy highway and takes you over the local, smaller roads. The route includes the beautiful Bain's Kloof Pass, which was newly tarred when we rode there. It is a must see and must drive! If you are afraid of heights, maybe have yourself a couple of bathroom breaks to breathe. After the pass, it is only a short drive to Ceres with plenty of accommodation options.
