About the Route
This route is a round trip from Bethlehem through Golden Gate and uses the same route to get back to Bethlehem. If you don't want to ride the same road back, there is an option to add a beautiful gravel road leading back to Bethlehem at the turn around point. This gravel road is shown in route 54 (the first half up until it joins the turn around point). Golden Gate is absolutely stunning riding and you won't be disappointed. Also schedule in a stop in the small art town of Clarens and enjoy the good food, drinks and large collection of local artwork shops.
